The Award-Winning Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club
The Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club is an award-winning golf development located in the residential and leisure development of Horizon Hills in Iskandar Puteri. Designed by master course architect Ross Watson, the RM30 million 18 holes international championship golf course employs the risk-reward principle while preserving the natural terrain of the land. Sprawled over 200 acres, many holes have large elevation changes from tee to green. Other exceptional characteristics of the golf course are the bunkers with sweeping sand faces. Additionally, man-made waterfalls, lakes, and ponds pose many interesting challenges to both serious and aspirant golfers. Gaining international recognition, the Horizon Hills Golf, and Country Club won the CNBC Asia Pacific Property Award for the Best Golf Development in 2009. Tee Times Malaysia’s Top Five Golf Courses in 2009 by New Straits Times, a leading English daily newspaper in Malaysia, also acknowledged it as one of Malaysia’s top golf courses while ParGolf Super 18 recognized the 18th Hole as the Best Golf Hole in Malaysia. The Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club won the ‘Design Award of the Commercial Category’ for the 10th Singapore Institute of Architects Architectural Design Award 2010. This RM50 million resort clubhouse was opened to members in July 2008.
