Asia's first-ever LEGOLAND@ Park on track to open its doors in Medini Iskandar Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri by 15 September 2012 a year ahead of schedule. Cording  RM720 million and stretching 76 acres, LEGOLAND Malaysia is the catalyst to spur Kota Iskandar's tourism industry. This theme park is attracting more than 1 million domestic and international visitors a year. Visitors will be able to enjoy more than 40 shows, rides, and attractions "hands-on" experience. This lifestyle development will also comprise a retail mall, themed hotel, business hotel as well as office and home areas. Having a younger demographic target audience (children 2— 12 years old), it is envisaged that LEGOLAND Malaysia will complement rather than compete with other theme park developments across the Causeway in Singapore. 34 Model Builders chosen from over a thousand applicants were trained in Europe and the USA. They will ensure the iconic landmarks and buildings from all over the world in MINILAND are built according to international specifications down to the minutest details. The Petronas Twin Towers model will be the tallest MINILAND model structure in the world.
