COLUMBIA ASIA HOSPITAL – ISKANDAR PUTERI WELCOMES TWO NEW YEAR 2022 BABIES
ISKANDAR PUTERI – The start of the New Year 2022 is a great time for millions of people around the world and in Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri (CAH-IP) this year, two couples celebrated the New Year by welcoming their new additions to the family on this auspicious day.
The arrival of a newborn marks a new beginning in every sense of the word especially for first time mother Teo Yi Ling, 25, a beautician. She gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl, weighing 2.77kg on 1st January 2022 at 9.28am. Her husband, Neo Wye Nyap, 28, F&B supervisor from Taman Serimbun, Johor Bahru felt happy because they will celebrate their daughter’s birthday on new year day every year. The couple thanked everyone at CAH-IP for making sure everything went smoothly for them.
Also, on New Year’s Day, Sharon Chea Jing Shuen, 23, a housewife gave birth to her second child at 9.27am. She and her husband, Marvin Lye Wen Ye, 25, a salesman was blessed with a 3.50kg baby boy. The couple from Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru felt blessed that their baby had arrived on such a significant day. They felt grateful for the baby’s healthy and safe delivery.
All mothers and babies were well under the care of Dr. Rajesh Mahendran Radha Krishnan, Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist; Dr. Quek Yek Song (郭业松), Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist; and Dr. Azhar Napis, Consultant Pediatrician, assisted by well-trained midwives and nurses of CAH-IP.
“What a way to start the new year, despite 2021 having been a challenging year for all of us. We felt excited for all the parents at the new arrivals of their bundles of joy, but most importantly was the safe delivery of the mothers. I am also glad to inform that CAH-IP will be celebrating its 12th anniversary this year,” said Dr. Ding Eng Li, General Manager of the hospital.
All families received a gift pack from the hospital filled with heartwarming notes.
